I don't know why- but I just love this picture. Maybe it's because my girls are fearless and I am full of fear. Maybe it's because my girls it's because they have an uncanny ability to scare the shit out of me. ("Be careful...no - put your foot to the left...you let them go up there with no shoes?...okay, that's far enough!) I totally get the being scared silly about stuff kids do...or stuff kids do with dads! My 10 year old likes to leap from the trunk of the car into her dad's arms. He lifts her up above her head and holds her there ... either like she's still a todler ... or like he thinks he's a great ballet dude ... or maybe ice skater. The difference is that his arms tremble like mad and one of these days she's going to be dropped on her head. But will they stop?? Of course not. It's all about my heart attack.
Anyway, I ramble. I'm sorry.

I am just like that. Mostly becaues I know that I would fall and land on my head. My girls are fearless. But sometimes I wished they had a sense of hesitation :-)
